electric ovens.

Our technicians are trained to service all components of your appliance. If you have a slightly different type of appliance – a separate oven or cooktop – we can fix them without a problem: cooktop repair and oven repair.
Free diagnostics with a completed repair.
Final price = labor + parts.
You will receive an exact quote after a full diagnosis to identify the faulty components. We only begin work after you approve it. Give us a call; we understand how important it is to quickly fix the heart of the kitchen—the stove, especially before an important event.
Gas stoves are reliable, but their burners, ignition systems, and oven components can fail. Common problems affect both the cooktop and the oven.
Common Cooktop & Oven Issues:
Top burners won't light (~30%): If the igniter doesn't click, the problem is likely the ignition switch or module. If it clicks but won't light, the burner ports may be clogged with debris. Self-check: Carefully clean the burner ports.
Oven won't heat (~25%): This is often due to a faulty oven igniter, which must glow hot enough to open the gas valve. If the igniter glows but there's no flame, the issue could be the safety valve.
Evaporator failure (frost buildup, poor cooling)
Least frequent — 5-8% of repairs. Caused by refrigerant
leaks, corrosion, or heavy frost buildup.
Weak burner flame (~15%): A weak or sputtering flame on the cooktop or in the oven is usually caused by a clogged orifice or a problem with the gas regulator.
You smell gas (~10%): Warning! If you smell gas, immediately turn off the gas supply, open windows, and call a technician. Do not use any electrical appliances. The cause is likely a leak.
Inaccurate oven temperature: If your food is burning or undercooked, the oven's thermostat or temperature sensor may need calibration or replacement.

Electric stoves can experience issues with their surface heating elements, oven elements, and electronic controls.
Common Cooktop & Oven Issues:
Surface element won't heat (~35%): For coil tops, this is often a bad connection or a burnt-out element. For glass tops, the radiant element under the glass may have failed. Self-check: On a coil stove, you can try swapping the faulty burner with a working one to see if the burner itself is the problem.
Oven won't bake (~30%): Ovens have two elements: one at the bottom (bake) and one at the top (grill). If one function doesn't work, its corresponding element has likely burned out. You can often see visible damage, like blistering or a break.
Evaporator failure (frost buildup, poor cooling)
Least frequent — 5-8% of repairs. Caused by refrigerant
leaks, corrosion, or heavy frost buildup.
Stove or oven won't turn on (~20%): If the entire unit is dead, first check your circuit breaker. If the breaker is fine, the issue could be a faulty terminal block where the power cord connects, or a failed electronic control board.
Inaccurate oven temperature (~15%): A faulty temperature sensor is the most common cause of temperature problems in electric ovens. This sensor can be tested and replaced by a technician.

These models combine a gas cooktop with an electric oven, so they are susceptible to the failures of both types described above. Our technicians have the necessary expertise to diagnose and repair both the gas and electric systems in these modern appliances.
